We are establishing a 12 month appointment pool for vacancies that may arise. We may offer permanent, fixed term, full time, part time or casual appointments, with the possibility of a further term and/or permanency.

East Perth, Perth & Joondalup Campus, as we are a multi-campus institution you may be required to work from more than one campus

We are currently seeking candidates with experience and expertise in Networking, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Programming and/or Web Development to plan, develop and deliver training and assessment to students in this study area.

To be eligible for employment you must hold at minimum a Certificate IV in Information Technology or an equivalent qualification.

There is a minimum qualification required to deliver accredited vocational education and training (VET) as defined by the Registration Standards 2025 (2025 Standards), or its successors. The current minimum qualification required is the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116, or TAE40110), or a secondary teaching qualification with an Assessor Skill Set (TAESS00011, TAESS00019, or TAESS00024).

Applicants who do not yet hold the minimum required VET credentials are still eligible to apply, however North Metro TAFE will require the successful candidate to be enrolled, and have commenced training in, an approved training and assessment credential and record satisfactory progress to enable the credential to be completed within two years from commencement.
