Accounts Officer (3 Days per Week)
Location: Seven Hills, NSW
Salary: Up to $85,000 + Super (Pro Rata)
Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm, 3 days per week (Flexible hours and days)
We’re recruiting on behalf of a long-standing Australian business that’s been operating for almost 30 years in the fire services industry — specialising in installation, maintenance, testing, and compliance across commercial and industrial sites.
 They’re now looking for an experienced Accounts Officer to join their close-knit team in Seven Hills, offering flexibility, stability, and a genuine family-style culture where you’re never just a number.
About the Role This role primarily focuses on Accounts Receivable, ensuring accurate billing, collections, and customer account management. However, it’s also an exciting opportunity to expand your skills across Accounts Payable and Payroll — with full training provided.
Day-to-day, you’ll also be involved in maintaining costing spreadsheets for various job sites and sharing these directly with the Managing Director, giving you great exposure to business operations and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
 - Assist with Accounts Payable and Payroll processing as required (training provided)
 - Maintain accurate job costing spreadsheets and provide regular updates to the M.D.
 - Oversee fleet management tasks, including fuel card (Shell) receipting and reporting
 - Support month-end processes and general administrative accounting tasks
 - Maintain strong relationships across the business with a focus on accuracy and care
 
About You
- Proven experience as an Accounts Officer or similar role
 - Strong knowledge of MYOB AccountRight (essential)
 - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
 - Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities in a part-time role
 - A team player with a proactive approach and a genuine “care factor”
