The Role

Reporting to the Factory Supervisor, this person shall be responsible for preparing CAD drawings, developing CAM routines and operating computer controlled flatbed router and pneumatic knife cutting machines. This is a full time permanent position in our Blacktown Factory. The factory is close to the station and other public transport.

Key Accountability

Managing and operating computer controlled flatbed cutting machines.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing CAD drawings if required.

Developing CAM routines in EnRoute software to instruct the router on how to run the job.

Operating the router including loading raw material and unloading finished product off the flatbed.

Operating the pneumatic knife cutting machines including loading raw material and unloading finished product off the flatbeds.

Performing preventive maintenance tasks on the machines.

Keeping the area around the machines clean and safe.

Checking finished product quality.

The Person

You enjoy working with computers and are familiar with Microsoft Windows operating system. You have some experience with preparing CAD drawings. Creating machine instructions using CAM software is desirable. Our machines are not difficult to operate and if you have computer experience you will quickly become a proficient operator.
