We’re seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a bespoke new home project commencing in 2026. This is a hands-on leadership role—ideal for someone who thrives on site and takes pride in bringing exceptional homes to life.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating all on-site activities to ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget, and to Lancaster Homes’ exacting standards.
This position combines site management and hands-on carpentry, offering variety and autonomy every day.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Overseeing day-to-day site operations and leading an in-house carpentry team

Scheduling and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and deliveries

Ensuring works are carried out to plans, specifications, and safety standards

Maintaining exceptional quality control and attention to detail

Booking council and private certifier inspections

Communicating directly with clients to provide updates and site meetings

Managing workflow schedules and on-site organisation

About You

You’re a proactive leader who’s as comfortable on the tools as you are managing a team. You bring a professional attitude, strong organisational skills, and a genuine passion for building homes of the highest quality.

To be successful, you’ll have:

Certificate III in Carpentry (or higher)

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a foreman or site supervisor role

Strong background in new home construction

Proven ability to lead and motivate teams

Excellent communication and client-relationship skills

A current driver’s licence
