About the role

As an Vacate Property Manager, you'll be the face of HU Property Group out in the field — managing the physical aspects of our rental portfolio. You'll take ownership of property vacate inspections, tenant communication, and vacate maintenance coordination to ensure every property is presented and managed to our professional standard.

This role involves travel between properties across South East Queensland, with the support of our Redcliffe-based office team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting full vacate processes, including detailed exit and entry condition reports

Managing bond refunds and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements

Handling tenant communication during vacates

Coordinating and overseeing maintenance, repairs, and cleaning during the vacate process

Liaising with tradespeople and contractors, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard

Managing the placement, return, and tracking of property keys

Identifying and reporting property issues or risks promptly

Ensuring all inspections and reports are completed accurately and on time

Representing the company professionally during all on-site interactions

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and enjoys working independently while representing a trusted brand in the community. You'll have a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for property management.

To Be Successful, You’ll Have:

3–5 years’ proven experience in residential property management or a similar role

A strong understanding of current property management legislation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with landlords, tenants, and tradespeople

Outstanding attention to detail, with solid administrative and organisational abilities

Strong time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure

Proficiency in PropertyMe or similar property management software (preferred but no required)

A current Real Estate Licence or Certificate IV in Property Services

A valid driver’s licence and the ability to work independently

Must be authorised to work in Australia (any visa status considered)
