Your role as Cultural Engagement Lead:
It's important for us to provide a culturally safe and supportive environment, while exposing First People youths to professional work environments that otherwise are difficult to access.
- Ongoing cultural guidance and support
- Create a culturally safe environment for children and young people
- Liaise with First People stakeholders and community members
As well as the support offered directly to First People youth your role will also see you visiting sites across Victoria doing Cultural consultation with our teams.
Buldau Yioohgen has some fantastic programs running throughout the year as well that you would be involved with such as Culture on Court, Boomerang Workshops, Basket Weaving and Art Workshops.

- Continue to manage and develop our fantastic relationship with Tennis Australia where we had 8 young people working at the Open in 2025 and run the Buldau Yioohgen Ngarra Jarra Leadership Academy On Country Camp each year.
- Knowledge and/or existing relationships with local and regional First People services.
- Attend First People meetings.

- Salary starts at $110,107
- Salary packaging is available up to $15,900 plus an entertainment card.
