About the role

Coral Sea Catering Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Mixologist/Bar Supervisor to join our vibrant hospitality team in Port Douglas, Queensland. This full-time role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our bar, ensuring exceptional customer service and the creation of inventive cocktails and beverages.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and training bar staff to deliver outstanding customer service

Crafting innovative cocktails and beverages to delight our guests

Managing bar inventory, stock levels and ordering to maintain efficient operations

Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing regulations and company policies

Providing input on menu development and bar operations

Fostering a positive, collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Mixologist or Bar Supervisor in a similar hospitality environment

Comprehensive knowledge of bar operations, cocktail recipes and mixology techniques

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team

Proficiency in inventory management and stock control

Flexible and adaptable to changing demands and priorities

Relevant bartending qualifications or certifications
