Lead Soccer Coach – Grasshopper Soccer (Perth Northern Suburbs)

We're on the lookout for an experienced, energetic, and kid-focused Lead Coach to join our team at Grasshopper Soccer. We're a grassroots soccer program (ages 2–12) that's all about fun, skills, and helping kids fall in love with the game. This isn't an elite academy, but we still value professionalism—and we pay our coaches for their time and effort, unlike most clubs.

About You:
You've got a strong coaching background and a passion for working with kids. You know how to lead with energy, keep things fun, and set the standard for others. You're not just a coach—kids gravitate to you, and other coaches learn from you.

What You'll Be Doing:

✅ Run engaging, age-appropriate sessions that kids love coming back to
✅ Lead by example and support younger or less experienced coaches
✅ Be the friendly point of contact for parents when needed
✅ Work mainly weekends and/or weekday afternoons (2–10 hours/week) during school terms
✅ Help create a positive, professional environment while keeping the fun at the core

Requirements:

Working With Children Check (or willing to get one)

Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle (or be eligible for a company car)

Coaching experience or certification (MiniRoos, Skill Acquisition, AFC C/B) is a big plus

Strong communication skills and love working with kids aged 2–12

Minimum 1-2 years of coaching experience required
