Hugo is reimagining preventive pet health across Australia — helping owners understand their pet’s wellbeing through data-driven insights and diagnostic testing.

We’re looking for a qualified veterinarian with an active ABN to help us create personalised pet health reports for pet owners based on pathology results and clinical assessments.

You’ll interpret diagnostic results (bloodwork, stool, urine, and physical exams) and write concise, clear reports with recommendations and a preventative care plan.

What You’ll Do:

Review diagnostic and physical exam data.

Write personalised pet health reports.

Collaborate with Hugo’s operations team for accuracy and tone consistency.

Requirements:

Veterinary qualification (BVSc/DVM or equivalent).

Current registration to practice in Australia.

Active ABN (contractor).

Strong written and clinical communication skills.

As a start-up, we’re still in the early stages of growth. This role will begin with ad-hoc hours when reports are available, with workload and consistency increasing rapidly as customer demand grows.

Pay: $50–$60 /hour (ABN contractor)
Location: Remote (Victoria-wide)
