The Scott Pickett Group is searching for an experienced, passionate, and skilled Event Sales Coordinator to join our talented team with an immediate start. This will be a shared role between two restaurants, Matilda 159 and Smith St Bistrot.

About the Opportunity

The Scott Pickett Group is renowned for creating some of Melbourne’s most memorable events and special occasion experiences for our clients, curated and presented by our award-winning front and back of the house teams, who deliver high-end events, weddings, product launches, corporate dinners, and wine releases.

About the role

Working along-side the operations team, you will be an integral part of the group. From initial inquiry to post event debrief, you will be a key factor in our client’s experience. You will be given the opportunity to learn and grow within a group who has been dominating the hospitality sector in Melbourne for over a decade. This is a predominately day-based role from Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

Managing client inquiries, referrals, and retention

Maximise the groups client retention with cross sales between venues

Proactively seek out new business opportunities

Conduct site visits, provide quotes, secure the sale

Work across multiple venues within the Scott Pickett Group

Work along-side all departments to ensure smooth facilitation of the Events sector

Organise and run events yourself ensuring a seamless experience from A to B

Candidate Qualifications

2yrs + in previous sales role in hospitality

Strong communication skills both spoken and written

Work within a team and autonomously

Proven track record on meeting and exceeding KPI’s and event sales goals.

Experience using Function Tracker, Seven Rooms & InDesign (preferred but not essential)

Proficient in Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
