The Opportunity
As a Contract Administrator you must be able to bring a flexible mindset, challenge traditional thinking and be prepared to work outside of their comfort zone. You will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of our infrastructure projects. You’ll partner closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to manage contracts, mitigate risk, and identify opportunities to add value. From procurement through to project close-out, your commercial acumen and attention to detail will ensure the success of every project.
About You
· Relevant Diploma and/or Minimum 3 years’ experience
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
· Demonstrated experience in a Contract Administrator, Commercial Administrator, or similar role
· Strong understanding of contract administration and ability to interpret complex contract terms
· Proven experience managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
· Skilled in managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
· Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
· Excellent organisation and time management with a proactive approach to deadlines
· Collaborative team player with the ability to work autonomously when required
· Background in services, infrastructure, or maintenance (preferred)
Strong problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail and Time-Management skills
Key Duties
· Review of contract documents including scope of works, specifications etc at tender stage
· Evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing and issue subcontracts
· General Subcontractor management including issuing monthly payment schedules
· Contract Administration – Preparation, administering, managing and monitoring of contracts
· Review and negotiation of contracts.
· Prepare specs for contractor proposals
· Responsible for project claims and variations
· Management and tracking of contract progress
· Liaise with senior management in weekly meetings to ensure goals are being met
· Respond to enquiries, resolve problems and build relationships with clients
