The Company

O'Brien is an Australian company with a national presence, recognised for building modern energy solutions in the pursuit of efficiency, reliability, and emissions reduction.

Our diverse workforce delivers innovative hot water, steam, and furnace engineering solutions to industrial and commercial businesses across Australia. We provide energy efficiency consulting, system design, and project management services (EPC and maintenance) across all elements of steam and hot-water infrastructure — and we deliver specialist industry training to upskill operators and technicians.

The Job

We’re seeking a Growth Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

This role blends coordination, organisation, and creativity — supporting enrolments, client communication, reporting, marketing activities, and event logistics. You’ll help keep processes structured, data accurate, and communication flowing smoothly between teams and partners.

This role reports to General Manager - RTO and it is an on-site, office-based role, with an option to work either from VIC, QLD, or NSW office

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support & Coordination

Support the day-to-day running of CoE operations, including enrolments, reporting, and coordination across delivery teams

Develop and maintain operational dashboards, tracking key business and marketing metrics

Assist in planning and executing improvement initiatives to streamline learner and client workflows

Provide administrative support for program delivery, partnerships, and event coordination

Marketing & Communications

Coordinate digital and promotional campaigns to showcase RTO courses, client partnerships, and success stories

Create and manage marketing materials including newsletters, website updates, case studies, and social media content

Collaborate with internal marketing and design teams to maintain brand consistency across platforms

Track campaign performance and provide insights to improve reach and conversion

Business Development & Client Engagement

Support business growth initiatives by maintaining client records, CRM data, and engagement reports

Assist in the preparation of proposals, tenders, and partnership documents

Coordinate communications with enterprise clients and industry partners to ensure high-quality engagement

Help identify opportunities for program promotion, events, and industry collaboration

Data, Insights & Reporting

Collate and analyse data on enrolments, client engagement, and campaign performance

Prepare concise reports and dashboards for leadership review

Identify trends and opportunities for improvement across operations and marketing

Events & Brand Presence

Support coordination of CoE and RTO events, including conferences, exhibitions, and client showcases

Manage logistics, marketing collateral, and post-event follow-up

Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all events and materials reflect O’Brien’s professional standards and values

The Requirement

We are looking for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys working across operations, marketing, and training coordination. You will need to be detail-oriented, adaptable, and confident in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this position you will need:

3–5 years’ experience in coordination, business operations, or marketing support

Strong organisational and communication skills with attention to detail

Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM or digital marketing tools

Experience within an RTO, education, or technical services environment will be highly regarded

A business mind with creative flair, focused on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement
