About Us
LabourWave Solutions Pty Ltd is a Perth based labour hire and mechanical engineering company headquartered in Malaga. After launching our mechanical division in February, we are now looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to help us price projects accurately, win contracts, and continue building momentum in this exciting new arm of our business.

The Role
This is a casual, fully remote position ideal for an experienced estimator looking to contribute a few hours a week on a flexible schedule. You’ll be responsible for preparing competitive tenders, reviewing drawings and specs, and providing detailed cost breakdowns for mechanical projects.

You’ll work directly with our management team to help position LabourWave Solutions as a trusted and competitive player in the WA mechanical contracting space.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates and tenders for mechanical projects.

Review project specifications, drawings, and scope of works.

Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotes.

Assist with pricing strategies to help win contracts.

Provide input on project budgets, risks, and opportunities.

Communicate effectively with our team and support project handover when successful.

About You

Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in construction.

Strong supplier and subcontractor relationships within WA.

Familiar with local pricing, materials, and industry standards.

Comfortable working independently and remotely.

Available 5–10 hours per week (flexible).

ABN and ability to invoice hourly as a contractor.
