Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

Execute the company’s financial strategy to support long-term business objectives and growth.

Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team to shape commercial decision-making and strategic direction.

Financial Management & Performance

Oversee all aspects of financial management, reporting, business analysis and compliance within a private organisation structure.

Drive performance through disciplined cost control, strategic management, and data-led financial insights.

Governance & Risk

Implement and maintain robust business and financial governance, utilising internal controls and risk management frameworks.

Ensure full compliance with all statutory, taxation, and reporting requirements.

Operational Excellence

Lead the continuous improvement of finance systems, processes, and reporting to enhance accuracy, compliance, and scalability.

Oversee procurement, IT services and contracts, and key supplier relationships to ensure sustainable value creation.

Leadership & People Development

Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing finance team spanning accounting, business analysis, and payroll.

Champion a culture of accountability, innovation, and professional growth.

You will demonstrate:

Proven success leading a finance function within a private organisation.

Expertise in business and financial governance, compliance, and risk management.

Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of building high-performing, engaged teams.

Professional membership with CA ANZ or CPA Australia (essential).
