Make a meaningful impact as a Disability Justice Clinician or Senior Clinician by joining our multidisciplinary team as a Disability Justice Clinician or Senior Clinician to deliver person and family-centred positive behaviour support to individuals involved in the justice system. Using evidence-based models like Good Lives and Risk-Need-Responsivity, you will conduct assessments, develop and evaluate tailored interventions, and support people with intellectual or cognitive disabilities transition from custody to community. You will collaborate with individuals, families, carers, and professionals to improve quality of life and reduce offending behaviours.
The Opportunity
As a Disability Justice Clinician/ Senior Disability Justice Clinician, you will be responsible for:
- participating as a member of the Disability Justice Service (the Service) to provide positive behaviour support interventions, person/family centred practice, and relevant models to support individuals interfacing with the justice system and/or transitioning from custodial settings to the community,
- contributing professional skills and knowledge to enhance team functioning and encourage positive results for individuals,
- conducting assessments implementing plans and undertaking evaluations that improve quality of life, reduce offending behaviour and facilitate transition, using a range of models and strategies for people with complex needs,
- contributing to the development of relevant plans in collaboration with individuals, families and carers and the multidisciplinary team.

Qualification Requirements
You must have a Tertiary Degree or qualification approved equivalent as stated on the JDF (via Jobs WA website).
