Who are we?

Bincorp Equipment is an Australian Owned business committed to building and manufacturing products locally here in Australia. First incorporated in 2003, Bincorp Equipment has a range of products to support the Waste, Recycling and Construction industries.

Bincorp manufacture a variety of bulk containers and bins ranging from small skips to larger 40 cubic meter hooklift bulk containers, hooklift trays and various other products including dog trailers and waste compactors.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Yard Hand to join our team. This role involves assisting in daily yard operations, including unloading deliveries, handling materials, supporting workshop staff with cutting and preparing steel, and collecting parts from suppliers as required. The work will be carried out in both indoor workshop areas and outdoor yard environments.

Regular overtime available when required.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure WHS policies and procedures are always maintained.

Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to load and unload steel trucks safely and efficiently.

Assist staff in measuring and cutting materials to required specifications.

Organise, store, and maintain yard stock in a safe and orderly manner.

Work in both indoor workshop and outdoor yard environments.

Clean and maintain the interior of the workshop to a safe and presentable standard.

Perform cleaning and upkeep of the yard to ensure a safe, hazard-free environment.

Pick up parts and materials from suppliers as directed.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Perform general yard maintenance and housekeeping.

Minimum Requirements:

Current and valid Driver’s License.

Current Forklift License.

Ability to read, write, and communicate in good English.

Basic numeracy skills for measuring and cutting materials accurately.

Experience using overhead cranes (training can be provided if required).

Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.

Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks safely.
