Workfast is seeking experienced Workshop Assembly Hand / Trades Assistant to join our team and support the assembly and distribution of chute systems for a leader in high-quality industrial and construction solutions.

• Location: Bankstown, NSW
• Pay Rate: $38.00 per hour + Penalties + Super
• Hours: 6am to 2:30pm (Monday to Friday)
• Start Date: ASAP

Key Duties:

• Paint and prepare pipes for distribution, ensuring proper coating and finishing.
• Use of hand and power tools to measure, cut, drill and assemble recycling chute equipment.
• Maintain an organised workspace to ensure a steady workflow
• Pick and pack products accurately according to order requirements.
• Assist with general warehouse duties, including loading and unloading materials.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area to uphold safety standards.
• Follow company procedures and safety guidelines while handling materials.

What You Need:

• Forklift Licence – beneficial
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
• Previous mechanical assembly / trade assistant experience - essential
• A reliable and punctual work ethic
• Own transport/ability to get to work
• Mechanical aptitude
• A "can do" attitude with a strong willingness to work and learn
