🐦 ROLE 1: Support Worker – Casual Pool Staff
Multiple Positions | Telarah | 24/7 Roster | Participant-Led Care
Join our compassionate team supporting a 69-year-old gentleman living independently in Telarah. This is not just a job — it’s a chance to make a real impact in someone’s life while being backed by a team that sees and supports you.
🕒 Shift Options
Day Shift: 06:00 – 14:00
Afternoon Shift: 14:00 – 22:00
Awake Overnight: 22:00 – 06:00
Non-Active Sleepover: 14:00 – 06:00 (occasionally)
Saturday Personal Care Shift: 06:00 – 10:00 (second worker)

🔍 Key Responsibilities & Required Experience
This role involves supporting a client with complex physical support needs. Applicants must have demonstrated experience in:
Supporting a full-time power wheelchair user (min. 6 months experience)
Performing 1-person assist for ADLs: toileting, showering, dressing, grooming, continence (min. 6 months experience)
Confident use of hoist equipment; 1-person competency required for emergencies (min. 6 months experience)
Preparing wholesome, home-cooked meals for modified dysphagia diets
Administering medication and following individual support plans
Performing household tasks: cleaning, laundry, ironing, and meal prep
Implementing behaviour support strategies
Supporting community inclusion and social engagement
Understanding or willingness to learn person-centred active support
Knowledge or willingness to upskill with degenerative conditions
✅ Essential Requirements
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Valid Driver’s License
Cert III in Individual Support or equivalent (no formal qualifications also considered)
Enrolled Nurses, nursing students, and allied health students encouraged to apply
First Aid & CPR (current within 12 months)
Medication Management Training (current within 12 months)
Manual Handling Training (current within 24 months)
Infection Prevention & Control (current within 12 months – we provide a refresher free)
NDIS Worker Induction – Quality, Safety & You
