The Role :
Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, the role responsibilities include:
Routine testing, sample preparation, breaks, concrete cylinders, mortar prisms and chemical testing, which includes lifting of 15-20kg
Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
Recording and verifying results within set parameters
Applying testing methods in accordance with Standards and accreditation requirements
Undertaking non-routine testing as required, applying testing methods in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and NATA testing requirements
Entering of analytical results into a laboratory data management system
Reviewing laboratory quality systems, conducting internal audits and contributing to the implementation of amendments
Complying with all directions regarding safety and other policies and/or requirements
Undertaking laboratory administration and housekeeping as needed
Contributing to the overall efficiency and operational improvement of the Laboratory.
