Our client has a long established relationship with Australia's largest insurance companies and loss adjusters and prides themselves on fast and reliable repairs for those affected by natural disasters and minor losses.

We are currently looking for an experienced estimator to join the team. This role will be to ensure that all estimates are completed in a timely and competitive manner across all regions in South East Queensland ranging from the Gold Coast to Gympie.

The ideal applicant will display the following attributes:

• Insurance industry experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Prime software skills preferred
• Ability to work will in a team environment
• 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Clear understanding of Australian building codes
• Previous trade experience desired

Your responsibilities will include:

• Produce a detailed scope of works and estimated costs associated
• Control and manage a portfolio of multiple projects
• Produce assessment reports and revie external contractor reports to assure all information is accurate
• Coordinate site meetings with subcontractor trades to obtain costs
• Complete estimates in a timely manner to ensure KPIs are met
• Develop relationships with clients to secure ongoing opportunities
