Lot 4 Joinery is a fast-growing joinery manufacturing business based in Port Adelaide. We build premium residential and small commercial joinery and have strong working relationships with builders, suppliers, and clients across Adelaide. We’re looking for a Finance & Internal Administration Officer to join our tight-knit office team. This role is key to keeping our financial and admin processes running smoothly every day. You’ll be across a variety of tasks, work closely with all departments, and be that reliable person who keeps things organised behind the scenes.

Finance & Internal Administration Officer

We’re chasing someone with hands-on experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and accounts and ideally in a busy environment where accuracy and timing matter. If you like structure, staying organized, and being the one people count on, you’ll fit right in here.

What the role includes:

• Keeping financial records accurate and up to date in Xero
• Processing payroll for staff and subcontractors
• Reconciling bank accounts and monitoring department spending
• Issuing invoices, tracking deposits and progress payments, and following up overdue accounts
• Processing and scheduling supplier payments
• Managing registrations, insurance and compliance documentation
• Supporting HR onboarding, staff files, and payroll setup
• General office admin including document management and supplies
• Liaising with our external accountant when required
• Working with Sales and Project teams to ensure billing matches job progress

What you’ll need:

• Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers
• The ability to manage deadlines and keep on top of priorities
• Clear and friendly communication skills
• Experience using Xero or similar accounting software
• A solid understanding of payroll, superannuation, and entitlements
• Able to work well with others but also independently when needed
• Current Australian driver’s license

Experience in construction or manufacturing is a bonus, but not essential. The right attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
