The Records and Knowledge Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of BPC Knowledge Management systems and practices. This includes managing KM resources, ensuring accessibility, effective sharing and regulatory compliance of all collateral (including digital). This role requires a strong understanding of compliance obligations, particularly in relation to the Retention and Disposal Authorities and adherence to the Public Records Office Victoria standards.
What we are looking for
- Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and managing knowledge management and records management strategies.
 - Proven experience in systems administration in a regulatory or compliance-driven environment.
 - Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of current government records management accountabilities including regulatory compliance, PROV standards, and retention and disposal authorities.

About the BPC
The Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) is Victoria's new regulator for building and plumbing.
It brings together the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV), and the domestic building insurance function of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) into one organisation.
Key functions related to building and plumbing regulation will come together under one roof, including registration, inspection and compliance, practitioner discipline, dispute resolution, and domestic building insurance. These services will now part of the BPC and will be fully integrated over the next 12 months.
