An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate and motivated Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef to join a well-established hospitality venue in the Barossa Valley. This role is ideal for a talented chef seeking stability, variety, and the chance to grow their skills within a supportive and dynamic team.

The Role
Reporting to the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef, this role involves working across two busy kitchens that cater for both à la carte dining and large functions. The ideal candidate will be a strong all-rounder who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality dishes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and executing dishes across multiple outlets and functions
  • Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
  • Assisting with stock management, prep, and section organisation
  • Supporting senior chefs in daily kitchen operations
  • Maintaining compliance with WHS and food safety standards

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen
  • Proven ability to work efficiently during busy service periods
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A passion for producing consistent, high-quality food
  • Trade qualification (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
