Fairfield Farming are looking for a motivated, experienced farm hand required for upcoming planting season and beyond. We are a broadacre dryland family farm situated 25km from Moree NSW.

The role will include all aspects of machinery operation from spraying (broadacre and camera), planting, spreading and other various farm duties both on the clients farm and also on a contracting basis.

Ideally the candidate will have:

Own vehicle preferred but one can be supplied to the right candidate

Succesful applicant must complete the ChemCert course if not held already

HC truck licence favourable but not essential however a current drivers license is a must

Willingness to learn

Good knowledge of spraying both broadacre and camera spraying as our contracting clients require attention to detail for these activities

Sound mechanical ability

Be able to work independently & unsupervised

Accomodation can be supplied if required

The role, whilst operating machinery will also include general farm duties, farm maintenance & machinery maintenance as well on the following:

Broadacre Spraying (Rogator) & Camera Spraying (Magnum 335 & Sonic Weedit)

Planting (JD 9430T & Boss 12m tyne)

Amazone 3PL Spreader

Operation of Iveco prime mover single tipper

Out loading of grain from silos

Delivery of grain to various depots/feedlots

Slashing/Property maintenance

Chaser Bin/Header driving
