NURSERY HAND x 2 positions, OAKFORD

Birnam Nursery is seeking two Full-time Permanent Nursery Hands to add to our growing team.

We are a production nursery located in Oakford and the positions available are physically demanding.

DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):

· Potting, weeding, preparation and dispatch of stock, batching and sorting of stock and general nursery duties.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Willingness to work outdoors regardless of the weather.

· Be physically fit and capable of lifting trays of plants above shoulders.

· Ability to work in a small group and also individually.

· Punctuality, reliability, hardworking, have an interest in plants and horticulture.

· Reliable transport as there is no public transport nearby.

** Permanent working rights in Australia (no visa holders please)

Commencing as Casual, upon successful employment the roles will become Permanent Full-time.

Hours are: Monday – Thursday 7am – 3.30pm, Friday 7am – 1pm

38 hours/week – some Saturday work is occasionally required during Spring and Summer.
