Responsibilities
As our Commercial Analyst, you'll provide commercial and financial support across the business:

• Financial Reporting - Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, including month-end closings, actuals tracking, and rolling forecasts
• Variance Analysis - Conduct thorough variance analysis and present insights and trends to help drive strategic commercial decisions
• Budget Support - Collaborate with business stakeholders to prepare annual budgets, ensuring alignment with operational goals
• Feasibility Analysis - Prepare feasibility analysis for potential new opportunities, including revenue, cost and margin reviews
• Yield Analysis - Partner with commercial teams to perform yield analysis reporting, focusing on pricing strategies, service mix, volume trends, and efficiency improvements
• Capital Expenditure - Assist in the preparation and presentation of capital expenditure submissions aligned with business objectives
• Financial Modelling - Conduct ad-hoc financial modelling to explore revenue opportunities and identify cost management strategies
• Business Case Development - Provide support for innovation and transformational projects, including project briefs and business case development
• Process Improvement - Offer insights for continuous process and system improvements, focusing on automating reporting and enhancing efficiency

Skills Needed

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting (CPA/CA progression highly regarded)
• 1-2 years' experience in a commercial analyst or similar role
• Financial modelling experience preferred
• Advanced MS Excel skills (essential)
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Anaplan or similar planning tools)
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
