The Role
We’re seeking Casual Support Workers/Carers to join our passionate team and provide in-home and community-based support to NDIS participants across all of Victoria.
Your responsibilities will vary depending on client needs, but may include:
Assisting clients with personal care (e.g., showering, grooming, dressing).
Providing domestic assistance, such as cleaning, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Supporting clients to access the community, attend appointments, or engage in social and recreational activities.
Promoting independence, dignity, and choice in all aspects of care.
Documenting progress notes and maintaining accurate client records.
Communicating effectively with clients, families, and the Care Lovingly team.
About You
You are compassionate, dependable, and dedicated to providing the highest level of support. You bring warmth and empathy to your role, and you understand the importance of respecting each client’s individual goals and preferences.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in disability, aged care, or community support (preferred).
A genuine passion for helping others and improving quality of life.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A strong sense of reliability, integrity, and empathy.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work across various shifts (including mornings, evenings, weekends).
Required Qualifications & Checks
Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or equivalent (desirable).
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Working With Children Check (Employee).
Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
Current Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
Full working rights in Australia.
