The role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Estimator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in the commercial landscaping and civil construction industry. You’ll work closely with our Senior Estimators to support the preparation of tenders, quotations, and cost plans for a wide range of landscape and civil projects across NSW, QLD & VIC.

Your impact

As a Junior Estimator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the success of our projects from the very beginning. Your attention to detail and eagerness to learn will help deliver accurate cost estimates that support Regal’s continued growth and reputation for excellence.

You will:

Assist with preparing and reviewing tender submissions and cost estimates.

Interpret landscape and civil drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.

Source and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing.

Perform quantity take-offs and input data into estimating software.

Support the estimating team with administrative and technical tasks.

Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Your every day

Reviewing tender documents and preparing material take-offs.

Working alongside experienced estimators to understand project scopes.

Attending pre-tender site visits or meetings.

Comparing subcontractor and supplier quotes.

Assisting with post-tender reviews and handovers to project teams.

You’re proactive, curious, and have a passion for construction and landscapes. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in producing quality work.

You will also have:

A qualification (or currently studying) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. (desirable)

Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Understanding of Microsoft Excel and estimating software (training provided).

A genuine interest in developing a career in estimating within the landscaping or civil construction industry.
