The Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) provides essential corporate functions to the Northern Territory Government, enabling agencies to focus on their core business. Workforce Services are delivered to client agencies under a centralised services model across a geographically and culturally diverse environment. The Workforce Operations and Partnerships Regional team are based in Katherine and Alice Springs and provide HR support across a range of areas including performance and conduct, disputes, inability and injury management across the respective regions.
As a Workforce Operations and Partnerships Senior Officer, your primary objective is to provide high-level, client-focussed generalist and specialist human resource (HR) management advice and support to Regional Northern Territory Public Sector (NTPS) agencies and employees.
As a subject matter expert, you will apply your industry knowledge and HR expertise to deliver a high-quality workforce advisory service and end-to-end support to NTPS clients in Regional Australia ensuring the successful delivery of their business objectives. Your demonstrated experience and contemporary knowledge of operational HR management will assist you undertake HR case management workloads and recommend appropriate courses of action for resolution and early intervention.
These roles will make good use of your high-level communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, your well-developed written skills and your ability to establish collaborative relationships and influence HR practices. Knowledge of the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 1993 or similar, relevant employment legislation and HR Management systems would be well received.
