Lead a team of human resources (HR) and workforce management professionals delivering a client-focused enterprise corporate services across Central Australia.

The Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) provides essential corporate functions to the Northern Territory Government, enabling agencies to focus on their core business. Workforce services are delivered to client agencies under a centralised services model across geographically and culturally diverse environment. The Workforce Operations and Partnerships team provides support across a range of areas including workforce management, workforce performance portfolios, general HR support, HR service centre, HR training and direct client engagement.

As the Senior Manager, Workforce Operations and Partnerships your primary objective is to manage a small team of HR professionals, ensuring workforce management expertise is provided to clients in a timely manner. This involves overseeing case management of workplace issues, recommending appropriate course of actions and early intervention strategies, triaging case management and undertaking analysis of client agencies’ People matters and HR data.

This leadership role will make good use of your high-level communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, your well-developed written skills and your ability to establish collaborative relationships and influence HR practices. Knowledge of the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 1993, relevant employment legislation and HR Management systems would be well received.

In return, you will receive a competitive remuneration package inclusive of; 12% superannuation, 6 weeks’ recreation and 3 weeks’ personal leave, additional 3 days paid Christmas Closedown leave, 3 days for personal emergency situations, compassionate leave of 3 or 5 days for extended or immediate family, paid parental leave of 14 weeks after 12 months service, options to purchase leave, and 17.5% annual leave loading. A generous relocation package will be available to the successful applicant if required.
