The Opportunity

Wildginger Huskisson, an acclaimed Asian Fusion restaurant in the heart of the beautiful coastal town of Huskisson NSW, is seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to join our passionate culinary team. This is a casual position offering a minimum of 25 hours per week, with increased hours available during holiday and peak seasons.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional food to our loyal and discerning guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality Asian Fusion dishes using fresh seasonal ingredients
• Ensure consistency in presentation, portion control and quality across all dishes
• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen at all times
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and support the Head Chef with daily operations
• Follow all food safety and hygiene standards to the highest level

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum two years’ experience as a Chef in a quality restaurant environment
• Strong cooking skills and a passion for contemporary Asian cuisine
• Excellent time management and ability to perform under pressure
• Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
• Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification preferred
