DuoGlass is proudly Perth’s largest specialist double glazed windows and doors manufacturer. Manufactured in Perth from German-engineered uPVC, DuoGlass double glazing products are UV stabilised to withstand Australia’s harsh sun – and engineered to last.
About the Role:
DuoGlass has a position available for a Factory Hand to be based in our Joondalup workshop, manufacturing uPVC double glazing window and door frames.
At DuoGlass, we offer attractive working hours, with Monday to Thursday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and Friday from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm, giving you a great work-life balance. Our supportive management team is dedicated to helping you succeed and providing the guidance you need. With on-the-job training and no prior experience required, we ensure you can grow in your role.
This position is ideal for someone who can read drawing, has experience with hand tools and is physically fit to lift window and door frames. Experience with uPVC, window/door manufacturing or uPVC or metal fabrication is highly advantageous.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret drawing
Use fixed machinery and hand tools
Fabricate and assemble door and window frames
Qualifications/Experience:
Physically fit to carry window and door frames
Ability to pass a drug & alcohol test
Right to work in Australia
