We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Engineer – Stormwater & Waterways to help deliver innovative and effective solutions across drainage, stormwater quality, flood mitigation, and shoreline management.

What You Will Do:

As an Engineer – Stormwater & Waterways, you will provide expert engineering and technical advice on a wide range of stormwater and waterway management issues. You will work alongside a dedicated team to develop forward-thinking strategies and help deliver high-quality infrastructure that supports our growing region and protects our natural assets.

Working under the guidance of the Senior Engineer – Stormwater & Waterways, your role will involve both planning and implementation, ranging from policy development and infrastructure modelling to the design and delivery of nature-based and traditional water management solutions.

What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), Associate Degree of Engineering (Civil), or relevant tertiary qualification.

Experience in a similar engineering or technical role within a similar organisation or industry relevant to the Australian context.

Sound analytical skills in the field of hydrology and hydraulics and other technical areas relevant to the role.

Sound knowledge of stormwater and flood model interpretation.

General knowledge of Federal, State and Local Government legislation, regulations, standards, policies procedures and guidelines relevant to drainage infrastructure planning and development and coastal engineering.

General project management skills and experience.

Good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
