About the Position

As Senior Client Manager, you’ll take full ownership of a diverse client portfolio, providing end-to-end business, accounting, and tax advisory services. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, leading strategic discussions and ensuring the delivery of outstanding service across your client base.

Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll also play a key role in developing team capability and strengthening client relationships as the practice continues to expand.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of established clients across various industries.
• Delivering proactive advice on tax planning, business performance, and growth strategies.
• Leading client meetings, presenting insights, and driving forward-looking discussions.
• Guiding and mentoring team members, fostering both technical excellence and professional confidence.
• Overseeing workflow delivery in collaboration with senior management to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Supporting staff development through coaching, feedback, and structured performance reviews.
• Identifying opportunities to enhance client value and strengthen internal systems.

About You

You’re a confident communicator and natural leader who thrives on building strong relationships. You enjoy seeing clients succeed and take pride in helping your team grow alongside you.

You’ll bring:

• At least 5 years’ experience in business services, tax, or advisory roles.
• Previous experience in a leadership or client management position (approx. 5+ years).
• Proven ability to manage a varied client base and deliver commercial, value-adding advice.
• Strong technical grounding in accounting and taxation (CA/CPA qualifications or equivalent ideal).
• Excellent interpersonal, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with cloud-based accounting systems — experience with Xero is highly regarded.
