The Role

As part of our implementation team, you’ll lead payroll setup and configuration projects for contractors across Australia. You’ll translate complex site conditions and pay rules into automated payroll logic, ensuring clients achieve accuracy, compliance, and smooth integration into SprintSuite for job costing.

Key Responsibilities

Lead client payroll onboarding projects from configuration through to go-live

Set up pay structures, allowances, and pay schedules to suit site and project requirements

Configure payroll rules for travel, overtime, remote work and project-based allowances

Integrate payroll data with SprintSuite to support accurate job costing and reporting

Audit existing payroll setups and optimise for compliance and efficiency

Provide training and support to clients’ internal payroll and HR teams

About You

You’re experienced in Australian payroll implementation and confident translating pay conditions into automated system rules. You enjoy solving complex configuration challenges and want to help modernise payroll in the mining and engineering space.

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience in payroll system implementation or configuration

Strong understanding of Australian payroll compliance, STP, PAYG, superannuation

Ability to configure complex allowance and overtime rules

Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills

Experience working directly with clients to gather requirements and train users

Hands-on experience with Employment Hero Payroll (or KeyPay) highly regarded

Desirable

Experience with integrations into ERP or job-costing systems

Familiarity with payroll processes in mining, construction, or engineering environments
