Clark Rubber has been a retail icon in the Australian market and is well known for its pool, foam, rubber and cleaning categories. We are in a rapid growth phase, and opportunities now exist for highly experienced or relatively novice swimming pool technicians to join the award-winning team at Clark Rubber Campbelltown. The franchisees have operated the business very successfully for more than 30 years and are keen to drive new business, specifically in the Pool Service category.

We provide a 3-week onboarding program for applicants with minimal to no experience in On Site Pool Care. This includes our Pool Technician 101 Induction Program, Pool Technician 12 Weeks to Success Workbook as well as ongoing development programs, a network of existing Technicians which can support to ensure you have the capability to do the role with confidence.

Qualifications & experience

A current driver's license (preferably on manual vehicle) with a good driving record.

Great customer service and selling skills and an ability to work in a team.

Previous plumbing, water treatment or other suitable trade, would be an advantage but not essential.

Highly motivated, with a positive attitude and ability to work unsupervised.

Take pride in their work.

Australian work rights are required for this position.

Tasks & responsibilities

Perform onsite service, maintenance tasks, water testing, repairs and installations of equipment.

Source and develop sales and provide quotations for service and equipment such as pumps, filters, chlorinators, covers and heaters.

Engage existing store staff to develop skills in the swimming pool service marketplace.

Stock/product management and care of Service Van and its contents.

While predominantly out on the road, some retail shop work may be required during the cooler months of the year.

We use Pooltrackr for our service operations. This is a fully digital scheduling, water testing, quotations, invoicing and payment receipting software system. Previous experience with this software advantageous but not essential.
