Join a team that supports Australia’s veteran community with care, purpose, and professionalism.
Ready to take ownership of the little things that make a big difference? Help create a space where our people feel supported, productive, and proud to come to work. Whether it’s maintaining an immaculately stocked cupboard, creating warm, welcoming spaces for our team and visitors, or ticking those essential errands of the list, your care and attention will directly contribute to our team’s wellbeing and help them stay focused on their goals.
Are you someone who thrives on keeping things organised, loves helping others, and brings positive vibes to every room you enter? At HomeFront, we’re looking for a personable, proactive Office Assistant. This is more than just an admin role - it’s your chance to execute exceptional support with initiative and professionalism - from daily operations to functions and community events.
From the moment someone walks through our doors, they’ll feel the impact of the environment and experiences you’ve helped create. You’re the reliable hand that keeps things running smoothly, and the behind-the-scenes champion who helps our team with what matters most: supporting Australia’s veteran community with care, purpose, and professionalism.
What You’ll Be Doing
- General admin support: data entry, filing, scanning, and document prep
- Office and kitchen upkeep: restocking supplies, tidying shared spaces, coordinating grocery orders
- Meeting and event support: room bookings, catering provision, printing materials
- Onboarding logistics: preparing welcome packs and desk setups
- Internal communications: updating noticeboards and distributing messages
- Front-of-house presence: greeting visitors and assisting with general office queries
- Ad hoc support: assisting with miscellaneous tasks that contribute to smooth daily functioning
About You
- You’re someone who brings warmth, energy, and a genuine desire to help. You love being part of a team and take pride in creating a space where others can thrive. You’re the kind of person who’s always one step ahead. Noticing what needs doing and jumping in to make it happen.
You’ll thrive at HomeFront if you:
- Have a naturally helpful, positive attitude
- Enjoy being hands-on and keeping things organised
- Communicate clearly, kindly, and confidently
- Are reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Are comfortable with basic tech (Microsoft Office, email, shared drives)
- Hold a current driver’s licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
- Can work on-site regularly (this is not a remote role)
- Are based locally in Brisbane
Do you bring experience in admin, hospitality, retail, or any role where service, coordination, and people skills shine? Be prepared to share how your strengths make you a standout candidate for this opportunity.
Why Join Us?

This is a great opportunity to build your skills in a supportive environment, with exposure to coordination, events, and business operations. We love seeing our team grow.
Enjoy a well-stocked kitchen, team events, and a workplace that values both professionalism and personality. We’re proud of our welcoming HQ and the people who make it feel like home.
