LAUNCESTON PATHOLOGY

Department: Histology

About The Role:

Specimen reception and data entry duties

Process patient samples using various histological techniques

Use laboratory application software

Prepare reagents and stains for histological processing

Maintain equipment

Apply quality systems and continuous improvement processes

Selection Criteria:

Proven ability to positively contribute to a team environment

The ability to work autonomously without direct supervision

An ability to apply quality control techniques in day to day laboratory processes

Proficient and self-motivated with the ability to demonstrate sound judgement and initiative

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Unrestricted Australian drivers licence

Previous experience in a laboratory setting will be considered advantageous.

Availability to cover a variety of shifts Monday to Friday (7am-8.30pm)
