Freelance Marketing & Content Coordinator (Part-Time / Casual/ Remote)
Remote friendly role with The Self Centre, a boutique psychology practice based in Sydney.
We are looking for a detail oriented and reliable Marketing and Content Coordinator to bring our brand to life across digital channels. You will be hands on with Canva, creating beautiful social media carousels and reels, preparing newsletters, posting blogs, and keeping our marketing workflow running smoothly.
This role is perfect for someone who is creative, organised, and loves helping a values driven mental health practice connect with its community.
About Us
At The Self Centre, we are a boutique psychology practice known for our warm, evidence based approach and authentic connection with clients and referrers. Our mission is to make high quality psychological care accessible and relatable, and our marketing plays a key role in that.
We are now seeking a Marketing and Content Coordinator to help us execute our monthly marketing strategy. You will collaborate closely with our Director, who creates the blogs and overall campaign themes, while you focus on executing the visual and digital content across social media, newsletters, and referrer communication.
About the Role
This is a flexible freelance or casual role requiring approximately five to eight hours per week. It will be performed remotely.
Your focus will be on creating, scheduling, and delivering weekly marketing content that reflects our calm, professional, and compassionate brand tone.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and schedule social media posts (in Instagram & LinkedIn) including reels and carousels, twice weekly using Canva
• Prepare and send our monthly Mailchimp newsletter and referrer emails
• Track engagement, compile simple end of month analytics, and suggest small improvements
• Ensure all content is consistent with our brand and AHPRA compliant
• Assist with updates to practice resources for clients & referring GP's
About You
You will thrive in this role if you are a highly reliable, creative all rounder with strong attention to detail and confidence using Canva and social platforms.
You will have:
• Experience with Canva Pro for creating carousels, reels, and branded templates
• Strong grasp of Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn scheduling tools, ideally Meta Business Suite
• Good written communication and basic copy editing skills
• Familiarity with Mailchimp or similar email platforms
• A proactive attitude, reliability, and ability to work independently
• Experience in allied health, psychology, or wellness marketing is a bonus
