EWS Recruitment currently has multiple opportunities available for experienced Excavator Operators to join our growing team on a range of bulk earthworks and civil projects across Australia. Work is based in the North, East, and Western Suburbs of Melbourne, with occasional requirements for regional Victoria.

Role and Responsibilities

Operate excavators safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail

Perform bulk earthworks, final trim, and bulk loading tasks

Conduct pre-start checks and maintain machinery in good working order

Work collaboratively with site supervisors and team members

Follow site safety procedures and company policies at all times

Communicate effectively to ensure smooth site operations

Skills and Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience operating excavators - 5T up to 50T

Experience in bulk earthworks, final trim, and bulk loading (preferred)

GPS machine control experience is advantageous but not essential

Valid Excavator Operator ticket and White Card (essential)

Current driver’s licence and reliable transport

Full Australian working rights

Very Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills

Additional tickets such as Skid Steer, Roller, Watercart, or Front-End Loader are highly advantageous
