Galaxy Personnel is a specialist provider of Mechanical Fitters across the Manufacturing with a specific emphasis in the Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical and Packaging Industries. We currently have multiple roles available for Maintenance Fitters to work across Day/Afternoon and Night Shift with some of Melbourne's leading household brands across these industries. These roles are based across the Melbourne metropolitan area & rural Victoria and require an immediate start.

Duties will include:

Preventative and Breakdown Maintenance

Solid troubleshooting and fault finding experience required

Proven background in an FMCG environment

TIG Welding an advantage

Installation and Project work opportunities available

Skills and Attributes:

Trade qualification -Cert III or Cert IV in Mechanical Engineering

Welding MIG & TIG advantageous

Pneumatics and Hydraulics an advantage

Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a Manufacturing setting

Food/Pharma/Packaging background Industry background highly desirable.

Christmas shutdown opportunities available.

Attractive hourly rates of $59-$91 dependant on shift.
