About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking and Administrative Support Officer (ASO). The ASO is an integral part of the Regional Logistics Distribution Centre (RLDC) operations, the position is responsive to the general administrative functions including procurement, supply and capital, contracts, linen services, customer service and providing governance and compliance administration support to management.
Position overview
- Employment Type: Part-time (40 hours per fortnight), Fixed Term position for 12 months
- Location: Warrnambool Campus
- Classification: Administration Support Officer Grade 1- HS1
- Salary Range: $58,442.80- $64,610 pro rata per, plus superannuation
What you bring
The successful applicant will deliver high-quality administrative and coordination support to the RLDC management team, ensuring the smooth operation of procurement, contracts, and logistics functions while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and customer service standards.
- Well-developed skills with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to learn and operate purchasing software programs (Oracle Supply) and Accounts Payable software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in team environment with limited direction and supervision
- A good understanding of administration tasks
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills
- Ability to relate, build and maintain rapport to a wide variety of people and professionals in public health
Desirable
- An understanding of inbound supply chain, contracts and procurement within a public health setting
