- Salary range: $4046.40 to $4402.60 p.f. (AO5)
- Annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity:
The Occupational Violence Prevention (OVP) Advisor is an integral member of the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team and has a fundamental objective to reduce harm associated with occupational violence and aggression.
The OVP Advisor will work directly with teams and individuals to address workplace hazards and implement strategies to minimise the risk of harm to staff exposed to violence and aggression in the workplace.
The role will lead change, coordinate delivery of initiatives and promote continuous improvement across the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (Townsville HHS).
Requirements:
- Whilst not mandatory, possession of Lead Investigator training and a Cert IV Training and Assessment would be highly regarded.
- A work health and safety qualification will be well regarded.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance.
