We are seeking an experienced Scraper Operator to join a full-time civil rehabilitation project in Queensland. This is a hands-on role for a skilled operator who takes pride in shaping and rehabilitating mine sites to environmental and operational standards.

• $60 per hour (Day shift)
• Nightshift loading +$6/hr ($66/hr)
• 7/7 roster – Day shift only (nightshift case by case basis)
• Camp accommodation & meals provided
• Full-time, Fixed Term Contract under the Black Coal Award

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a scraper to carry out rehabilitation and reshaping of disturbed areas
• Load, haul, and dump topsoil, subsoil, and overburden to meet design specifications
• Assist in final trim and contouring of landforms to match environmental plans
• Maintain consistent ground levels and drainage according to survey designs
• Work closely with dozers, graders, and water carts to ensure coordinated operations
• Perform regular pre-start checks and report faults or defects promptly
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance, and environmental standards
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and environmental personnel

Mandatory Requirements:

• Proven experience operating scrapers in civil or mining rehabilitation works
• RIIMPO325E – Conduct civil construction scraper operations (or equivalent)
• Standard 11
• Current Coal Board Medical (or ability to obtain)
• Valid Driver’s Licence
