About the Opportunity
An opportunity has become available for enthusiastic and energetic Chef de Partie, to join our talented team of chefs on a full time basis. In this role you will be responsible for assisting in the effective operation of the Kitchen. This will be achieved by working as a team with other Kitchen staff to provide the appropriate quality and level of service to our members and guests

As a Chef De Partie you will be reporting to the Executive Chef and supported by other senior members of the kitchen brigade. Dining options offered at RACV Noosa Resort include: Buffet breakfast in our Arcuri Restaurant, bar service for lunch and dinner, poolside service, in room dining and our popular pizzeria overlooking the infinity pool. In addition, RACV Noosa Resort caters for large corporate groups utilising our conference and event facilities.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Serve a consistent high-quality product;
Manage the regular rotation of stock, ensuring there is minimal wastage;
Oversee and perform operational duties of the section;
Work in all areas of the kitchen operation; and
Train and induct staff and supervise the development of apprentices, cooks and chefs assigned to the sections
Availability and flexibility to work a rotating roster will be highly regarded. Available shift pattern is typically 1.30pm - 9.30pm
What you’ll need to be successful
Previous Demi Chef/ Chef de Partie experience in a 4-5 star hotel/resort, or similar environment
A Commercial Cookery qualification, recognised in Australia
Demonstrated experience in cookery and well developed knife skills
Thrive in a large, busy & fast paced work environment
The ability to comfortably lift 20kgs and perform repetitive manual tasks safely
Full working rights in Australia.
