Property Manager (City Council, Eastern Suburbs)
- Up to $75 per hour, casual rate
- Casual position until June 2026
- Monday - Friday (9am - 5pm)

The Role
The primary objectives of this role include but are not limited to:
- Managing the Council's portfolio of properties that are leased or licensed in a professional manner
- Prepare and negotiate new occupancy agreements, variations, extensions and terminations within Council's guidelines, including overseeing execution process
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a register of occupancy agreements (leases and licenses).
- Ongoing review of occupancy agreements to ensure they adequately reflect Council's policies, interests and agreed arrangements and compliance with legislation.
- Liaise with tenants, licensees, landlords, licensors and other stakeholders on property matters, including planning meetings and minute taking where required.
- Review accounts receivables outstanding debts and follow up non-payment with tenants.
- Assist in drafting policies on matters relating to the formal occupancy of Council property.
- Prepare the forecast revenue and expenditure for the annual budget including profiling.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in property management, property, or related discipline or substantial progress towards completing such qualification with substantial experience.
- Relevant and extensive experience in property management.
- Sound record of performance in similar position.
- (ideally) previous experience managing council property portfolios.
- National Criminal History Check.
- Working with Children Check.
- Full working rights within Australia
