Seeking customer service professionals to undertake efficient and effective parking patrols
Your new company
We are seeking vibrant customer service professionals who are able to commit to full-time hours. As a Parking Patrol Officer, you will undertake efficient and effective parking patrols and parking/road-related enforcement activities, in accordance with relevant legislation, Council policies, procedures and work practices.

Your new role
- Undertake parking patrol and other regulatory activities, in accordance with relevant legislation, Council policies, procedures and work practices.
- Undertake parking patrols of designated areas (on foot), assess compliance with relevant regulations, road and traffic rules and take appropriate enforcement action.
- Take appropriate enforcement action on behalf of Council, including issuing penalty notices, directions, or other regulatory action, in accordance with the delegation from the General Manager.
- Investigate and resolve internal and external parking/road-related customer action requests and take appropriate regulatory and enforcement action, in accordance with relevant legislation, Council policies, procedures and work practices.
- Interact and communicate with the community in an effective, professional and customer-focused manner and without conflict.
What you'll need to succeed
- Current Class C drivers licence
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and see tasks through to completion
- Proven ability to handle difficult situations and deescalate
- Proven experience in and commitment to customer service
- Demonstrated ability to communicate calmly and effectively with a diverse range of people
- Capable of working within the physical requirements of the position
- Understanding of EEO and WH&S principles
- Commitment to Council's values
