The Alec Illin Secure Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit (SMHRU) provides recovery-focused care in a safe, structured environment for consumers under the Mental Health Act. The unit supports rehabilitation through evidence-based psychological interventions and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Competitive salary and benefits
- Salary between $4912.70-$5286.40 per fortnight (HP4).
- 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading.
- Generous employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%.

About your opportunity
As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will provide advanced psychological assessment and intervention for complex consumers in a secure mental health setting. You will lead therapeutic programs, contribute to service improvement, and support clinical supervision and education within the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Four-year degree in Psychology and registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical or Forensic Psychology highly regarded.
- Eligibility for Board Approved Supervisor status desirable.
- Class “C” motor vehicle licence required.
- This is a VPD risk role – vaccination evidence required.
- A probationary period may apply.
