You are financially rewarded for your experience, with all client fees paid directly into your own bank account, on the day of service.

We have 25+ clients on our waitlist now, so you start with immediate caseload.

A little more about Better Life Centre:

Supporting clients for 25 years - our Founder still practices in the clinic part-time, and oversees monthly peer support sessions! - Better Life Centre is a widely respected Psychology and Mental Health/counselling service, working with clients of all ages, primarily Medicare-based. Both Assessment and Therapy clients. Centrally located in Kedron, the clinic is a modern yet homely environment, creating a friendly and safe atmosphere for clients.

Our experienced team of supported Private Practitioners consists of 13 therapists: 1 x Clinical Psychologist; 7 x Ed & Dev Psychologists; 4 General Psychologists; 1 x Counsellor.

Our therapists have an average 12 years' clinical experience, including over 7 years at Better Life Centre on average. Therapists describe our workplace culture as “fantastic”, surrounded by “knowledgeable”, “empathetic”, and “generous clinicians”. We gather monthly for group clinical peer support.

Psychologists joining recently have enjoyed caseloads ~80% full prior to day 1. Existing clinicians are largely at capacity. Waitlist of 25 clients, we have strong ongoing referrer relationships.

What we ask of you:

Drawing from the strengths of our current Psychologists, we seek like-minded professionals who:

Hold general or clinical Psychologist registration with AHPRA (no Provisional Psychologists, thanks, though always happy to share information with Provs).

Have a minimum 2 years’ experience working with your preferred client types.

Registered with Medicare or the ability to obtain a provider number before commencement.

Demonstrate a compassionate, gentle approach.

Have a strong interest to continue learning in evidence-based modalities.

Are warm, personable, and capable of working both in a team and autonomously.

What we offer:

Flexible scheduling, with the freedom to design your calendar.

Competitive hourly compensation. 5 hours work in a day sees you with $800+ already in your bank account at day's end. 6 hours equals $1,030+ in your bank, same day. Potential for higher earnings on Saturdays and evenings.
