As a Senior Occupational Therapist within the Renal Services team you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality, culturally responsive care to individuals with renal disease in the Top End region communities and at Royal Darwin Hospital (RDH).
You’ll provide timely assessments and interventions in an inpatient and outpatient setting, work as part of a multidisciplinary team, and provide leadership and supervision to Allied Health professionals within NT Health.
About you
You are a dedicated Occupational Therapist ready to contribute to a high-impact service. To be successful in this role you will have:
Relevant qualifications in Occupational Therapy and meet membership eligibility for Occupational Therapy Australia and registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority
Experience providing contemporary high level clinical occupational therapy services
Proven understanding of Aboriginal culture and experience working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
Proven ability to clinically supervise students and staff with a commitment to professional development.
Proven ability to successfully manage a high-volume workload with competing priorities
